Colorado’s Safe Haven law gives parents in crisis a safe, legal way to give up a newborn they can’t care for. If your baby is 30 days old or younger and unharmed, you can hand them to a staff member at our Colorado Springs facility.

You don’t have to share your name or explain your decision, and the law protects you from abandonment charges when you surrender your baby this way. Our team will make sure the baby receives medical care and will notify the proper authorities so the child can be placed with a loving family.
